Key Responsibilities
Safe Vehicle Operation:Safely operate a vehicle in various conditions, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Transportation:Transport passengers or goods to their intended destinations in a timely and efficient manner.
Route Planning:Use GPS and local knowledge to plan the shortest, most efficient, or required routes, considering factors like traffic and road conditions.
Vehicle Maintenance:Conduct regular pre- and post-trip inspections, perform basic maintenance, keep the vehicle clean, and arrange for repairs when necessary.
Record Keeping:Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, trip details, and delivery information as required.
Customer Service:Interact professionally and courteously with passengers and clients, answering questions, providing assistance, and resolving issues.
Loading/Unloading:Safely load and unload passengers, goods, or equipment, ensuring their secure handling.
Documentation:Ensure all necessary vehicle documents, such as licenses and insurance, are current and present the required paperwork upon delivery.
Compliance:Adhere to company policies, traffic laws, and emergency procedures.
