to join our logistics/transportation team. The driver will be responsible for operating a 3-ton pickup truck to transport goods, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently, while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Operation: Safely drive and operate a 3-ton pickup truck for deliveries and collections.
Loading & Unloading: Assist with loading, securing, and unloading goods to prevent damage.
Route Planning: Follow assigned routes and schedules; optimize delivery times when possible.
Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery records, trip sheets, and logbooks.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks (fuel, oil, tires, brakes) and report any issues promptly.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to traffic rules, safety standards, and company policies.
Customer Interaction: Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients during deliveries.
Qualifications
License: Valid commercial driving license appropriate for 3-ton vehicles.
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of driving experience with light commercial vehicles.
Knowledge: Familiarity with local routes, traffic regulations, and basic vehicle maintenance.
Skills: Good communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and move goods as required.
