Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent

Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of positions within the dredging industry, including technical and skilled trades roles

Utilize a variety of recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals, to attract a diverse candidate pool

Manage the recruitment process from initial sourcing to final selection, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout

Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions and provide guidance on job posting best practices

Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external recruitment partners

Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions and candidate pipelines

Participate in job fairs, industry events, and other recruitment-related activities as needed

Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and reports

Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

3+ years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the dredging industry or a related field

Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and trends

Proven ability to source and recruit for technical and skilled trades roles

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and project management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruitment software tools

Ability to travel as needed for recruitment-related activities
