Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

ELV Draughtsman

to join our team in the UAE. Candidate must have proven experience in preparing precise drawings for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including fire alarm, CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and other related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate

shop drawings

,

as-built drawings

, and

layouts

for all ELV systems including: CCTV Fire Alarm Access Control Structured Cabling Public Address Systems BMS Intercom & SMATV Review project specifications, BOQs, and design requirements for accurate drafting. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and timely submissions. Update and revise drawings based on engineering markups, site changes, or client feedback. Ensure all drawings meet

local authority standards

, project guidelines, and compliance codes (e.g., Dubai Civil Defence). Support project teams with technical clarification related to drawings. Maintain proper documentation and drawing logs as per QA/QC standards. Assist in the preparation of

material take-offs (MTOs)

and support procurement and installation teams. Collaborate with other disciplines (MEP, Civil, etc.) to ensure coordination and avoid clashes.

Requirements:

Minimum

3 years of experience

as an ELV Draughtsman in the UAE. Proficient in

AutoCAD

and familiar with Revit/BIM is a plus. Knowledge of ELV systems and related standards (e.g., SIRA, DCD). Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Diploma or certificate in Drafting/CAD or a related technical discipline.
