Job Title: Draughtsman (Joinery Specialist)

Location: Musaffah - Abu Dhabi

Experience: 4-5 years (Joinery Industry Mandatory)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

Draughtsman

with

4-5 years of experience in the joinery industry

to produce detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication plans for custom woodwork, cabinetry, and interior fit-outs. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD, have a strong understanding of joinery manufacturing processes, and ensure precision in design execution.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

detailed workshop drawings, fabrication drawings, and assembly diagrams

for joinery projects (e.g., cabinets, furniture, wall paneling, and custom woodwork). Collaborate with designers, engineers, and production teams to translate concepts into

accurate technical drawings

. Ensure all drawings comply with

industry standards, material specifications, and client requirements

. Review and modify designs based on feedback from project managers and workshop teams. Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project files. Assist in material estimation and BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation. Support on-site measurements and design adjustments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma/Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, or Engineering

(or equivalent experience).

4-5 years of UAE/GCC experience as a Draughtsman in the Joinery Industry

(essential).

Expertise in AutoCAD

(2D/3D); knowledge of

SketchUp, SolidWorks, or other CAD software

is a plus. Strong understanding of

joinery materials, woodworking techniques, and fabrication processes

. Ability to interpret architectural drawings and design intent accurately. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Basic knowledge of

shop floor production and CNC machining

(preferred).

Preferred Attributes

Experience with

modular furniture, luxury interiors, or high-end residential/commercial joinery

. Familiarity with

ISO standards

in woodworking and joinery.
