Drama Teacher
Kings\xe2\x80\x99 School Nad Al Sheba is seeking outstanding, passionate and motivated Drama Teachers to join the team from August 2023. This role will entail covering classes from Primary through to Years 7 and 8. Requirements:
Holds a Bachelor degree relevant to the teaching subject, a high quality degree at 2:1 or above in a CPA or Dance subject
Holds a qualified teacher status (QTS) and/or a PGCE
Able to teach consistently inspirational lessons and a track record/ability to deliver results
A commitment to the well being and pastoral care of all students within their care
Able and willing to make a broader contribution to school life
Innovative, creative, enthusiastic and able to deliver results
Experience of working overseas or with international students would be an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years experience
Experience in delivery of A-Level and GCSE in CPA or Dance
The ability to motivate, enthuse and engage with children and adults
A demonstrable commitment to a robust culture of high expectations and quality care
The ability to challenge and improve performance
Excellent professional knowledge and understanding developed in an established educational context
Current educational trends and issues, including local and national policies, priorities and legislation, underpinning school effectiveness
Assessment strategies and the use of assessment to inform progress in teaching and learning
Ability to manage change and work under pressure of changing circumstances
An exceptional, collaborative, inspirational practitioner with proven ability to build positive working relationships with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders
