Job Description

The Draftsman/Surveyor is responsible to provide accurate technical drawings, topographical data, and site measurements to support the design, development, and maintenance of estate infrastructure and facilities. The Draftsman / Surveyor ensures precision in documentation and layout for civil, architectural, landscaping, and utility projects within the estate, enabling smooth execution of high-standard construction and renovation work.

JOB LOCATION: FUJAIRAH, UAE



QUALIFICATIONS:



Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related field. Certification in AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software (required). Certified in Land Surveying, GIS, or Total Station Operation (preferred). Familiarity with UAE construction and surveying regulations. SOE (Society of Engineers - UAE) membership is an advantage. Valid UAE Driving License (preferred for site mobility).

EXPERIENCE:



3-5 years of experience in technical drafting and land/site surveying, ideally within luxury villas, private estates, hospitality projects, or civil infrastructure in the UAE or GCC. Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams (civil, MEP, landscaping, architecture). Background in supporting renovation, site planning, and as-built documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Technical Drafting



Preparing accurate 2D and 3D drawings for civil, architectural, utility, and landscape elements. Generating shop drawings, as-built drawings, site layouts, and detailed sections. Updating and revising drawings based on engineer/site feedback.

Surveying & Site Measurements



Conducting topographic surveys, boundary marking, leveling, and site inspections using Total Station, GPS, and laser tools. Verifying physical site dimensions and preparing survey reports for planning and execution. Supporting layout marking for foundations, roadworks, fences, pipelines, and service lines.

Software Proficiency



Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and surveying software such as Trimble, Leica, or ArcGIS. Proficient in managing digital drawings and collaborating on shared design platforms.

Documentation & Records



Maintaining drawing registers, survey logs, and document revisions. Organizing files for easy access by engineers, contractors, and estate management. Ensuring alignment with internal estate standards and local regulatory requirements.

Coordination & Site Support



Working closely with engineers, landscape designers, and project coordinators to interpret and execute plans. Participating in site walkthroughs, inspections, and layout verification. Communicating effectively with contractors and vendors during project execution.

Attention to Detail & Confidentiality



Ensuring accuracy and clarity in all documentation for estate infrastructure. Upholding strict confidentiality, especially in matters involving estate layout, resident facilities, or private infrastructure.

SALARY & BENEFITS



Visa & Health Insurance 1 economy flight per annum 30 days' paid vacation per annum Salary: 4,000 to 8,000 AED depends on experience
