Forulinks, a leading technical services company specializing in waterproofing and thermal insulation solutions in the UAE, is looking for a

Detail-Oriented Draftsman

with experience in construction drawings related to waterproofing and insulation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

technical drawings

and

shop drawings

for waterproofing, thermal insulation, and protection systems as per project specifications and consultant requirements. Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, and clients to gather design inputs and ensure drawing accuracy. Generate

as-built drawings

based on site markups and installation updates. Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to incorporate relevant details. Ensure all drawings adhere to

UAE construction standards

and project-specific documentation. Support the technical team in

material take-offs (BOQ)

and planning. Maintain an organized digital drawing library and version control of project files. Assist in preparing

submittals

, including CAD details and system layouts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

2+ years of drafting experience

in waterproofing and insulation systems within the UAE or GCC region. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

, MS Office, and familiarity with

Revit or other BIM tools

is a plus. Understanding of

technical specifications

, construction methods, and waterproofing/insulation materials. Ability to read and coordinate

multidisciplinary drawings (civil, architectural, MEP)

. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team. Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
