Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with strong experience in

joinery works

to prepare technical drawings, detailed shop drawings, and as-built drawings for custom woodwork, cabinetry, and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working in joinery or carpentry manufacturing environments and will be able to translate design concepts into practical production-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

shop drawings

and

detailed joinery drawings

for furniture, doors, wardrobes, kitchens, and other bespoke joinery items. Convert architectural and interior design drawings into detailed manufacturing drawings suitable for production. Collaborate with the production, procurement, and design teams to ensure technical accuracy and material compatibility. Ensure drawings comply with

industry standards

, company standards, and client requirements. Make modifications to drawings based on site conditions, consultant feedback, or production feasibility. Assist in preparing

as-built drawings

for completed projects. Maintain an organized drawing archive and version control. Conduct site visits (when required) to gather dimensions and verify installations.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field. Minimum

1-2 years of experience

in a similar role, specifically in joinery or interior fit-out. Proficient in

AutoCAD

, and knowledge of

SketchUp

,

Revit

, or similar design software is an advantage. Strong understanding of

woodworking techniques

, joinery details, materials, and hardware. Ability to interpret architectural and interior design drawings. Knowledge of

production processes

and standard practices in joinery and fit-out. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

Previous experience in

UAE/GCC joinery or fit-out companies
