Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Dubai for a Draftsman specializing in roads and infrastructure. The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing and revising technical drawings, detailed plans, and layouts for road and infrastructure projects. The role involves collaborating with engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy, maintaining compliance with technical specifications and industry standards, and utilizing design software to create clear, precise drafts. The Draftsman will also assist in ensuring project timelines and deliverables are met effectively.

Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, and other drafting tools Ability to create technical drawings, layouts, and blueprints for road and infrastructure projects Strong understanding of construction standards, codes, and materials used in road and infrastructure projects Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with engineers and project teams Detail-oriented approach and ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in designs Prior experience as a draftsman, preferably in roads and infrastructure projects Relevant certification or diploma in drafting, engineering, or a related field Proficiency in adapting to project management timelines while producing high-quality work Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and design considerations is an advantage
