Job Description

We are looking for Draftsman, with extensive experience in interior fit-out projects, will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings, detailed shop drawings, and coordination layouts in alignment with the design intent and project specifications. The role requires translating conceptual designs into accurate construction documentation while ensuring full compliance with architectural standards, client requirements, and applicable regulatory codes.

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of Technical Drawings

Develop precise and comprehensive shop drawings, technical drawings, and coordination layouts in full alignment with approved design intent, project specifications, and contractual requirements. Ensure all deliverables meet the highest technical standards, enabling accurate interpretation and seamless execution on site.

Design Translation

Convert conceptual and schematic designs into detailed, buildable construction documentation. Safeguard design integrity while ensuring practicality, constructability, and technical feasibility throughout the process.

Site Measurements & Surveys

Conduct meticulous site measurements and surveys to validate dimensions, assess existing conditions, and detect potential conflicts. Resolve discrepancies between design drawings and site realities to ensure accuracy prior to execution.

Fit-Out Detailing

Produce highly detailed and technically sound drawings for joinery, furniture, ceilings, partitions, flooring, and MEP coordination. Deliver solutions that balance design aesthetics with engineering requirements and construction practicality.

Regulatory & Standards Compliance

Ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes, health and safety regulations, quality standards, and client-specific requirements. Integrate compliance checks at every stage of the drafting process.

Document Control

Maintain a systematic and up-to-date drawing register with rigorous version control. Accurately track all revisions, updates, and records for seamless documentation management throughout the project lifecycle.

Site Technical Support

Provide ongoing technical assistance to site teams by clarifying drawing details, addressing discrepancies, and responding promptly to design-related queries. Act as a vital bridge between the design office and on-site execution teams.

Advanced Drafting Tools

Utilize advanced CAD and BIM platforms to optimize drafting efficiency, precision, and coordination. Apply 3D modeling and digital collaboration tools to detect design conflicts early and streamline multidisciplinary workflows.

Multidisciplinary Coordination

Engage in proactive collaboration with architects, engineers, designers, project managers, and subcontractors. Facilitate integration across disciplines, resolve technical challenges, and ensure consistency with overall project goals.

Quality Assurance

Implement rigorous quality control processes on all drawings to guarantee accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements prior to release. Uphold company standards to deliver error-free documentation.

Process Improvement

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by developing templates, enhancing workflows, and introducing best practices. Share expertise and foster innovation to elevate drafting quality and efficiency within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree or a Diploma in a related discipline 4+ years of progressive professional experience in developing detailed joinery, furniture, partition, ceiling, flooring, and MEP coordination drawings for commercial and high-end interior fit-out projects. Advanced expertise in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and other industry-standard drafting and modeling software, with strong capability in producing precise 2D/3D drawings and coordination layouts Skilled in translating conceptual and schematic designs into comprehensive, buildable construction documentation aligned with project requirements and industry standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and respond constructively to feedback.
