Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman with experience in structural and architectural design to join our interior fit-out team. The ideal candidate will produce detailed drawings, assist in design development, and support project execution for commercial, residential, and retail interior projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings for interior fit-out projects, including plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and interior designers to ensure drawings comply with design intent and project specifications. Convert conceptual sketches and designs into technical drawings suitable for construction and fabrication. Update and maintain drawing records, including revisions and version control. Review and interpret structural and architectural documentation to coordinate interior fit-out works. Assist in preparation of material schedules, shop drawings, and construction documentation. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and project guidelines. Provide on-site support and clarification for contractors and project teams when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related field. Proven experience as a Draftsman in interior fit-out, architectural, or structural projects. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D rendering software, and MS Office. Understanding of structural drawings, architectural detailing, and construction methods. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Good communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of materials, finishes, and interior construction techniques.

Preferred:

Experience with MEP coordination drawings for interior projects. Exposure to commercial, retail, or hospitality interior fit-out projects. Ability to produce 3D renderings and visualizations for client presentations.
