Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled

Architectural and Structural Draughtsman

with expertise in

BIM software

and significant experience in preparing and submitting

authorities' packages

in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing detailed architectural and structural drawings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with various teams to meet project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:Design and Drafting:

Prepare detailed and accurate architectural and structural drawings using

BIM tools

or AutoCad such as Revit and AutoCAD. Create 2D and 3D models, including plans, sections, elevations, and construction details. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure design consistency.

Authorities Package Preparation:

Develop and prepare documentation for submission to Dubai authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA). Ensure that all designs and documentation adhere to local building codes and regulatory standards. Liaise with local authorities to follow up on approvals and address feedback or comments.

BIM Modelling " Arch , STR" :

Integrate architectural and structural models into BIM workflows. Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues within BIM environments. Maintain accurate BIM models throughout all project stages.

Project Assistant:

Support project managers by providing accurate and timely drawings. Coordinate with the internal team and external consultants to meet project deadlines. Assist in the preparation of tender documents, BOQs, and specifications as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

5+ years of experience

in architectural and structural drafting in Dubai. Proven track record in preparing and submitting authorities' packages. Expertise in using

Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools

.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of

Dubai building codes, regulations, and authority requirements

. Ability to interpret and execute design concepts into detailed drawings. Proficient in technical documentation, with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on large-scale commercial and residential projects UAE Resident Immediately Join within 1 week is a must
