The AutoCAD Operator will prepare detailed 2D drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for interior fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design and site requirements. The role requires close coordination with designers, engineers, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
AutoCAD drawings
for joinery, gypsum, ceiling, flooring, partitions, and furniture layouts.
Convert
concept drawings
or sketches into technical CAD drawings.
Prepare
shop drawings, as-built drawings
, and
detailed joinery drawings
.
Coordinate with
designers, engineers, and site teams
to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Review drawings to ensure they meet
project specifications
and
authority standards
.
Maintain proper filing and version control of drawings.
Assist in preparing
material take-offs
and
BOQs
from drawings when required.
Support the team with
3D layout visualization
(if capable).
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Certificate in
AutoCAD / Drafting / Architecture / Civil
or related field.
5 years of experience
as an AutoCAD Draftsman in an
interior fit-out / joinery
company (UAE experience preferred).
