Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for projects using AutoCAD or other drafting software
Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs are accurate and meet project requirements
Revise drawings based on feedback or design changes
Maintain and organize a library of drawings and technical documentation
Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations
Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation upon project completion
Requirements:
Minimum
2 years of experience
in a drafting or CAD technician role
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
, and familiarity with other design software such as Revit, SketchUp, or SolidWorks is a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
Good communication and teamwork skills
Degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred
Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):
Experience in [insert industry focus, e.g., structural, electrical, MEP, civil, or architectural drafting]
Knowledge of local building codes and standards
Experience with 3D modeling or BIM
