Structural Steel Draughtsman
with a strong technical background and proven experience in steel fabrication drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed
shop drawings and fabrication drawings
for structural steel works.
Develop
GA (General Arrangement) drawings, sections, and connection details
based on engineering inputs.
Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, fabrication, and erection requirements.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams for accuracy and timely delivery.
Update and revise drawings as per client/consultant comments and site requirements.
Maintain drawing records and documentation.
Requirements
Minimum
3 years of experience
as a Structural Draughtsman in the steel fabrication industry.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
(Tekla knowledge is an added advantage).
Strong knowledge of
steel fabrication, welding symbols, and construction details
.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
