Job Description

The Drafter is responsible for creating accurate technical drawings and plans based on designs provided by architects, engineers, or project managers. This includes preparing 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD or similar software, updating plans as projects progress, and ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans for buildings, structures, and systems. Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to produce 2D/3D designs. Interpret architectural and engineering sketches and translate them into drawings. Revise and update drawings based on markups, site changes, or design modifications. Ensure all drawings meet project specifications, industry standards, and company quality guidelines. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other project team members to resolve design issues. Maintain organized records of all drawings and versions. Assist in preparing material take-offs and as-built drawings when required.

Requirements:



Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in a similar drafting role. Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or Civil 3D is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good understanding of construction methods, building codes, and engineering terminology. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
