We are currently seeking an
Experienced Structural Draftsman
to join our client's engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural drafting, with the ability to prepare accurate and detailed drawings in compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and develop detailed structural drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD/Revit.
Interpret engineering designs and convert them into technical drawings.
Coordinate with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Modify and update drawings as per site conditions, consultant feedback, or project revisions.
Maintain drawing records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Ensure adherence to local building codes, standards, and project specifications.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Drafting.
Minimum 5
years of experience
as a Structural Draftsman in the UAE/Gulf region.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit and other drafting software is an advantage).
Strong knowledge of structural detailing and construction practices.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and coordination skills.
