Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and update as-built drawings, operations manual drawings, and refurbishment/modification drawings for offshore jack-up drilling rigs.
Develop detailed 2D drawings and layouts from engineering sketches, specifications, and field data.
Coordinate closely with the fabrication team, engineers, and offshore personnel to ensure all dimensional and technical data are accurately captured.
Maintain and organize drawing records, ensuring revisions and document control procedures are followed.
Provide drafting support during project execution, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Assist in preparing fabrication sketches and detailed component drawings as required.
Requirements:
Diploma or certification in Drafting/Engineering or related discipline.
Proven experience (5+ yrs) as a draftsman within the marine industry.
Preferred experience in jack-up drilling rigs.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software is mandatory.
Knowledge of fabrication, structural steel, and mechanical layouts.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
