Job Description

Job Summary:
The Draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software. These drawings are used in construction, manufacturing, engineering, and architectural projects. The Draftsman ensures accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Interpret sketches, notes, and verbal instructions from engineers, architects, or designers to produce accurate technical drawings.
• Review and modify designs based on feedback to meet project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and company guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to finalize designs.
• Maintain organized records of drafts, revisions, and project documentation.
• Assist in material estimation and project cost calculations when required.
• Stay updated with the latest CAD software advancements and industry trends.

• Education: Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of drafting experience (entry-level candidates with strong CAD skills may be considered).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
• Understanding of engineering/architectural principles.
