Abu Alnaga Contracting is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Draftsman to join our engineering team. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating accurate structural drawings and shop drawings in accordance with engineering specifications and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed structural and shop drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
Work closely with structural engineers to understand design intent and technical requirements.
Revise drawings based on engineering feedback and site conditions.
Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes and project standards.
Organize and maintain drawing records and documentation.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience as a structural draftsman in the UAE.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or similar software is a plus.
Solid understanding of concrete and steel structural detailing.
Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
