Position: Draftsman
Location: Dubai Investment Park 2 - Dubai, UAE
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
? Prepare detailed drawings and technical plans using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
? Translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings for manufacturing and construction.
? Coordinate closely with interior designers, project managers, and workshop teams to ensure drawings meet design intent and project requirements.
? Revise drawings based on feedback, design updates, or site conditions.
? Maintain and organize project drawing files and documentation.
? Conduct site measurements and surveys when necessary.
? Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and local regulations.
Requirements:
? Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
? 2+ years of experience as a Draftsman, preferably in the interior design, furniture, or fit-out industry.
? Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D software is a plus.
? Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
? Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, joinery, and construction methods.
? Ability to interpret design briefs and convert them into clear, production-ready drawings.
? Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
? Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
