Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Draftsman with over 2 years of experience to create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans for HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other drafting software and a strong understanding of HVAC design principles.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed HVAC drawings, including ductwork layouts, piping diagrams, and equipment plans.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications and codes.
• Review and modify drawings based on feedback from clients, engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local building codes.
• Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and assist in material estimation.
• Maintain organized project documentation and revisions.
• Work with 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit MEP) for BIM projects (if applicable).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC drafting (residential/commercial projects).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar software.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, duct sizing, and load calculations.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and building codes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred (But Not Required):

• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
• Knowledge of CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) for airflow analysis.
• Certification in AutoCAD/Revit.
