Plays a crucial role in the Fit out and Design, architectural, and construction industries by creating detailed technical drawings and plans.

Duties and responsibilities.

1. Creating Technical Drawings:

- Produce detailed and accurate drawings and plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

- Interpret sketches and specifications to create clear diagrams of products or structures.

2. Design Support:

- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to conceptualize and develop designs.

- Revise drawings based on feedback and updates from project teams.

3. 3D Modeling:

- Develop 3D models to visualize structures or components.

- Use modeling software to simulate real-world performance of designs.

4. Documentation:

- Prepare technical documentation and reports to accompany drawings.

- Maintain organized archives of drawings, designs, and revisions for future reference.

5. Standards and Compliance:

- Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.

- Stay updated on relevant standards and codes applicable to the specific field.

6. Project Coordination:

- Coordinate with other departments, including manufacturing and quality assurance, to ensure feasibility of designs.

- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on design progress and address concerns.

7. Quality Control: - Conduct regular checks of drawings for accuracy and completeness.

- Implement changes and corrections as needed before final submission.

10. Continuing Education:

- Stay current with advancements in drawing tools, techniques, and best practices within the industry.

- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.
