Job Title: Draftsman
Employment Type: Temporary (approx. 2 months) / Freelance
Location: Preferably Doha; remote work may be considered if more suitable
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed shop drawings for large-scale construction projects, including landscaping, indoor furniture, and interior fit-out.
Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure all technical details are accurately reflected.
Liaise with consultants and contractors' architectural teams regarding shop drawing requirements and approvals.
Might attend site meetings with consultants/contractors when clarification is required.
Follow up on approvals and manage re-submissions where necessary.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Strong understanding of shop drawing submission procedures in Qatar and KSA.
Minimum of 3-4 years' relevant experience in the industry.
Proven attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
Licensed as an architect/draftsman, with experience in construction projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
