Job Summary

:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with experience in data center design to support the engineering and construction teams by preparing accurate technical drawings, layouts, and plans. The candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure all design specifications and standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for data center infrastructure including electrical, mechanical, and architectural layouts.

Develop floor plans, equipment layouts, cable routing, rack elevations, and as-built drawings.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and local regulations.

Coordinate with the engineering team to incorporate design changes and client requirements.

Maintain version control and proper documentation of all drawings and revisions.

Collaborate with site teams to ensure design accuracy and resolve any drawing-related issues.

Assist in design reviews and provide technical input to improve layout efficiency and constructability.

Support BIM integration and participate in clash detection processes if applicable.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a draftsman, preferably with exposure to data center projects.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD software.

Knowledge of MEP and ICT systems related to data centers is a strong advantage.

Familiarity with UAE construction standards and building codes.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in data center or critical facility environments.

Working knowledge of BIM coordination and Navisworks.

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 per month
