Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to create technical drawings and plans based on the specifications provided by engineers, architects, or project managers. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of design and construction principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD or other CAD software. Convert rough sketches and specifications into accurate technical drawings. Revise drawings based on feedback or changes in project requirements. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure designs meet requirements. Ensure drawings comply with industry and company standards. Maintain drawing files and document control procedures. Conduct field/site visits when necessary for measurement or clarification.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Draftsman or similar role. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software. Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail. Understanding of engineering or architectural principles. Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in [industry-specific area, e.g., MEP, civil, architectural, structural]. Knowledge of 3D modelling software. Familiarity with local building codes and standards.
