We are looking for a detail-oriented Draftsman to support engineering design and documentation team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in preparing technical drawings, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring accuracy per UAE codes and standards. Previous experience in the construction industry will be an advantage to you.

Responsibilities:

Prepare AutoCAD drawings and layouts for electrical or mechanical systems in line with project requirements and specifications. Develop and update shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordinated service layouts. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts into technical drawings. Revise drawings as required by site changes or client feedback. Maintain drawing logs and manage proper documentation for easy retrieval and tracking. o Perform technical coordination with other disciplines (structural, architectural, etc.) to avoid clashes and ensure design integration. Conduct site visits as needed to verify and validate drawing accuracy. Assist in preparing documentation for project handovers or regulatory submissions. Ensure all drawings comply with local authority standards, UAE regulations, and company drafting standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related technical field. Minimum 3 years of relevant UAE experience in electrical or mechanical drafting for construction projects. Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, or other drafting tools is a strong advantage. Familiarity with construction drawings, schematics, load schedules, ducting, piping layouts, and other system-specific details. Good understanding of UAE building codes, authority submission procedures, and industry standards. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills. o Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment and attend site coordination meetings.
