Roles & Responsibilities
Create detailed structural drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy in dimensions and specifications for construction projects.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and integrate design changes seamlessly into existing plans.
Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders, rapidly adapting to changes to maintain project timelines.
Utilize 3D modeling software to visualize structural designs and facilitate clearer communication among project teams.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field is preferred for a foundational understanding of structural principles.
At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in structural drafting, particularly in commercial or residential construction projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other structural design software is essential for producing high-quality drawings.
Certification as a CAD Technician or similar professional credential is advantageous for demonstrating expertise.
