Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. This role requires proficiency in various drafting software and a strong understanding of mechanical design, construction, and schematics.

Duties

Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks. Collaborate with engineers and architects to create accurate designs that meet project specifications. Utilize SketchUp, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, and MicroStation for project visualization and design development. Prepare schematics and layouts for construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders. Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and revisions throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in the development of project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion.

Requirements

Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and Civil 3D. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and construction practices. Experience in drafting schematics and technical drawings with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey design concepts and changes. Familiarity with 2D animation techniques is a plus but not required. A degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
