The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of CAD tools (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, etc.), GIS platforms (ArcGIS, QGIS), and relevant design codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed design and construction drawings for road and infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with civil engineers and planners to develop efficient layouts.
Integrate GIS data into infrastructure planning and design.
Conduct site layout planning, grading, and utility coordination.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date drawing records and revisions.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS software.
Experience with transportation/infrastructure projects.
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
Familiarity with government and municipal infrastructure standards.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and topographic maps.
