Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Drafter with strong experience in wood furniture, joinery, and interior fit-out drawings. The ideal candidate will prepare accurate technical drawings, cutting lists, and 3D models for production and client approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed technical drawings for custom wood furniture and joinery items . Interpret architectural and interior design plans to create precise carpentry shop drawings. Produce 2D and 3D visualizations of furniture, fixtures, and fittings for client approval and production reference. Develop cutting lists and cutting sheets based on approved shop drawings for factory fabrication. Collaborate closely with factory supervisors, production teams, and project managers to ensure technical accuracy and practicality. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from clients or production teams. Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation. Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, specifications, and best practices. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in related field. Experience in joinery, wood furniture, or carpentry shop drawings is highly preferred. Strong understanding of materials, joinery details, and production methods. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments. Strong communication skills and ability to handle revisions efficiently.
