Al Habtoor Palace Dubai, is looking for a

well-presented and courteous Doorman

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming and professional first impression for our property. This is a unique opportunity to be part of one of Dubai's most iconic luxury hotels, where timeless elegance meets exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Reception & Assistance

Welcome guests, residents, and visitors with a friendly and professional attitude. Open doors and assist guests with entry and exit. Provide assistance with luggage, parcels, or directions as needed

Customer Service

Maintain a

pleasing and professional personality

at all times. Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to inquiries or requests. Coordinate with the reception, concierge, valet, and security teams to ensure seamless service.

Security & Safety

Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorized persons access the premises. Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to security personnel. Assist in emergency procedures (fire drills, evacuations, etc.).

Appearance & Grooming

Maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards. Ensure the entrance area is always clean, tidy, and welcoming.

Communication & Coordination

Maintain clear communication with the front desk and management regarding guest arrivals and departures. Relay messages or packages to the appropriate departments or individuals.

Operational Support

Assist with valet parking coordination, taxi arrangements, or transport requests. Support housekeeping or maintenance teams by reporting damages or irregularities in the entrance area.

Representation & Etiquette

Act as an ambassador for the company, maintaining a courteous and respectful demeanor. Ensure all guests receive a positive first and last impression of the property.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Doorman, Concierge, or in hospitality/customer service preferred

Pleasing and professional personality

with excellent communication skills Well-groomed appearance and positive attitude Good English communication skills ( other languages a plus) Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
