We are seeking a professional and friendly Doorman to join our esteemed hospitality team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers, Qatar. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience from the moment they arrive at our establishment.
Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor, assisting them in and out of vehicles
Open doors for guests, paying special attention to children, elderly, and individuals with disabilities
Manage vehicle parking procedures, coordinating with valet staff as needed
Stay informed about hotel facilities, local attractions, and current events to provide accurate information to guests
Assist with luggage handling, ensuring safe and efficient transport to and from guest rooms
Direct and control traffic flow at hotel driveways to maintain safety and order
Collaborate with security personnel to implement and uphold safety procedures
Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
Assist with valet parking duties when required, including issuing tickets and retrieving vehicles
Maintain a clean and organized entrance area
Report lost and found items according to established protocols
Adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks efficiently
Uphold the highest standards of customer service at all times
Qualifications
Genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with luggage
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm, courteous demeanor
Proven track record of reliability and responsibility
Team player with a collaborative attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Valid driver's license for occasional valet parking assistance
Familiarity with local customs and etiquette in Doha, Qatar
Multilingual skills are highly advantageous
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
