Lobby Assistant / Door Lady
Concierge, Shangri-La Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi
We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Door Lady to join the Shangri-La family. The lobby is one of the guests first impressions when reaching Shangri-La, the successful applicant will have a passion for their work and a personality that will make our guests feel both welcomed and cared for.

What will you do?
Welcome the guests to Shangri-La.
Be present and attentive at all times.
Work with hotel colleagues to keep excellent service standards.
Be prepared to assist other Shangri-La colleagues/departments in a thoughtful manner.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness/orderliness.
Bid farewell to departing guests and leave them with a fond memory.
Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues/management to find solutions.

The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style. To meet the needs of long-staying guests, the hotel offers 161 fully-furnished spacious serviced apartments ranging from studios to four-bedroom units. The hotel is located within the acclaimed Qaryat Al Beri complex, on a one-kilometre stretch of private beach overlooking the strait that separates Abu Dhabi Island from the mainland.
