Role Summary
The Door Attendant is responsible for greeting guests, assisting with vehicles and luggage, coordinating with valet and security teams, and providing accurate information about hotel facilities and activities, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests courteously and assist them in and out of vehicles, offering special support to children, elderly, and guests with disabilities
  • Inform guests of parking and valet procedures and assist valet parkers with ticket issuance
  • Direct traffic at hotel driveways to ensure smooth flow and maximum safety
  • Coordinate closely with Security to enforce safety and access procedures
  • Handle guest luggage promptly and professionally using safe handling techniques
  • Deputize for Bellmen when required, assisting with retrieving and loading guest items
  • Lift, carry, and transport luggage using bell carts between vehicles and lobby areas
  • Ensure luggage is loaded and unloaded to and from the correct vehicle, reconfirming counts with guests before departure
  • Respond positively and professionally to guest inquiries
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, promotions, and city happenings to provide accurate information
  • Report Lost and Found items in accordance with hotel procedures
  • Follow all departmental policies, service standards, and safety guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support guest service operations
