Key Responsibilities:Market Research & Forecasting:
Conduct in-depth research on global agriculture commodities markets, including crops, livestock, and related products.
Collect and analyse data on market trends, pricing, supply and demand dynamics, and regulatory changes.
Monitor geopolitical events and their potential impact on the agriculture commodities market.
Develop forecasts and projections for agriculture commodities pricing and market trends.
Collaborate with other departments to align trading strategies with market expectations.
Customer and Supplier Sourcing:
Identify and establish relationships with potential domestic and international customers and suppliers in the agriculture commodities trading industry.
Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
Track and analyse the activities and strategies of competitors in the agriculture commodities trading sector.
Identify competitive strengths and weaknesses and provide recommendations for our company\'s market positioning.
Order Management:
Coordinate and manage the end-to-end order process, including order placement, shipment scheduling, and tracking.
Ensure all orders meet regulatory compliance and quality standards.
Collaborate with logistics partners to arrange efficient and cost-effective transportation.
Liaising effectively with carriers\xe2\x80\x99 (shippers and freight forwarders) to manage and execute customer ocean freight full container load (FCL) bookings.
Monitor the progress of shipments, resolve any issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
Oversee the payment process for both customers and suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Handle payment disputes and discrepancies with professionalism and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and trade laws.
Build and maintain good relationships within the company and with external parties (new and existing vendors).
Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records of agricultural commodities.
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize losses and discrepancies.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances.
Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all warehouse activities.
Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate timely shipments and deliveries.
Customer Service:
Timely management of multiple lines of communication between suppliers, shippers, customers and internal parties.
Maintaining customer satisfaction by keeping them updated on the progress of their orders and following-up tidily their provided shipping instructions -planning it accordingly with the concerned departments.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly.
Follow up claims with concerned departments and maintain high customer retention rate.
Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.
Report Generation:
Generate regular market prices report and Agriculture seasonal reports for concerned regions.
Generate regular follow-up reports on order status (shipment progress, and payment updates) for multiple accounts in various stages of completion in a highly time sensitive environment.
Compile end-of-order reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
Assisting in Marketing Strategy Development & implementation:
Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our services.
Collaborate with management to set clear marketing objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Coordinate & assist in content creation, advertising, and promotional activities.
Create engaging and informative content, including blog posts, articles, and social media posts, related to agriculture commodities trading.
Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and adjust strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
Perform other related duties as required.Qualifications:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, International Trade, or a related field (Mandatory).
MSc in Supply chain, International Trade, or a related business field (preferred).
Proven experience in operations, logistics, or international trade.
Strong understanding of agriculture commodities trading.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Multilingual skills are a plus.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, if required.
Driving licence.
Willing to work under-pressure and overtime
