VAM Systems is currently looking for Domain Architect Principal - Digital Front-End for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions:

Technical skills

Qualifications - Required education, minimum work years\' experience

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree
• A minimum of 5 years\' experience in the information and telecommunication technology industry in similar roles
• 5+ years\' hands on experience delivering state of the art front-end solutions
• Experience delivering solution in an Hyperscale environment
• Worked in agile design and delivery and a CI/CD environment
• Experience in designing large-scale distributed and high-performance web applications

Required: Essential skills

• Development experience in React.js/Native (Flutter optional)
• Mobile web (adaptive, responsive), Progressive Web App, mobile app (native, hybrid), APIs (RESTful/OData/JSON) and API design
• Any: ecommerce (hybrids, etc), Self-service (oracle WCS), omni-channel (SAP/Nutcracker/quantal/ Oracle/Dynamometric, carillon), Mobile App development (iOS, Android), API Management Platform (e.g. MuleSoft, Dell Bonomi, Oracle Fusion, MS Biztalk, Google/Apigee, Software AG, AWS Gateway, IBM API Connect)
• CMS platforms: Drupal, Oracle, Liferay, Concertful
• Experience with enabling A/B testing / experimentation platform
• Experience working with off-shore/near-shore development teams
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
• Cloud-native experience with service providers such as Azure and AWS, working in PaaS, FaaS and IaaS

Desirable

• Experience in global and/or domestic telecom services or with digital players
• Experience working in large scale transformation projects

Responsibilities

• Accountable & responsible for the successful definition of the front-end technology and practices and their implementation in projects / products
• Works in close collaboration with the technology teams and vendors to ensure the adoption of the relevant technology tools and practices
• Ensures that appropriate analysis of the user stories is carried out, that the requirements are well defined and written in such a manner that they can be actionable by the development teams
• Supports the implementation teams by providing guidance and clarifications on how to implement the solutions and while adopting the best practices
• Performs reviews of the deliverables of the development teams to ensure their level of quality as well as their adherence to the best practices
• Identifies potential innovations and adoption of technologies that might be beneficial for the solutions
• Collaborates with architecture, engineering, security, operations and service management teams to ensure the solutions are stable, performant, and continuously meet business needs while at the same time making sure that the NFRs (Non-Functional Requirements) and system enablers are considered in, captured by, and cascaded to the backlogs
• Works with peers within the business teams and IT teams to ensure awareness of the architectural aspect
• Works with the relevant stakeholders to articulate and affirm the implications of organizational business strategies on the architecture

The role belongs to the Technology area. (Digital Front-End Domain)

The key purpose of the role is to have a domain expert responsible for leading the implementation of the Digital Channels\' front-ends best patterns and practices in the Digital Factory solution and its ecosystems.

The person taking on the role is expected to have an in-depth understanding of all aspects of the digital front-end technology including the back-end dependencies considering all architectural aspects to ensure a fast return on investment and business continuity.

The role entails ensuring medium term planning closely aligned with Technical and Business goals and objectives, and driven by a focus on maximizing value for both users and customers.

The role further entails combining the requirements of both technology, security and operations teams and channelling them into the delivery team that will be responsible for the development and delivery of the various components.

The person taking on the role is expected to possess a good understanding of the technology strategy and objectives as well as the supporting systems and processes / journeys across key technology areas.

The role requires a high degree of interaction with various teams such as IT architects, business architects, solution designers, product owners, delivery team members, testers, vendors, etc. Strong collaboration skills are therefore key to be successful in this role.
