Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated

DOH Licensed Registered Nurse

to serve as a

School Nurse

in a reputable educational institution in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of students by managing routine and emergency health needs and promoting health education throughout the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff during school hours. Maintain accurate and confidential health records for all students. Monitor and manage students with chronic illnesses or special health needs (e.g., asthma, diabetes, epilepsy). Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician instructions and school policy. Conduct routine health screenings (vision, hearing, BMI, etc.) and refer cases as necessary. Support the school with health education programs, hygiene awareness, and wellness campaigns. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school administrators on student health concerns. Maintain cleanliness, inventory, and proper storage of medical supplies in the school clinic. Monitor and report communicable diseases and work with local health authorities as needed. Ensure compliance with UAE Ministry of Health and DOH/HAAD regulations and school policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent. Must hold a valid

DOH/HAAD Registered Nurse License

. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; school-based or pediatric nursing experience preferred. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English;

Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.

Ability to work independently and manage a school clinic effectively.

Working Conditions:

4.5-day work week (Monday to Friday). School environment with standard working hours. May require attendance during school events or emergencies beyond regular hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
