Job Description
Patient Care & Medical Support
Provide first aid treatment and nursing care for employees in case of accidents, injuries, or sudden illnesses at the site. Assess, record, and monitor vital signs, administer prescribed medications, and maintain ongoing care. Assist in medical emergencies and coordinate with ambulance/doctor/hospital when higher-level care is required. Ensure proper wound dressing, IV cannulation, and basic life support (BLS) as per DOH standards.
2. Occupational Health & Safety
Conduct regular health checks and monitor workers exposed to hazardous conditions. Maintain a clean, well-equipped, and DOH-compliant site clinic. Support health and safety teams in promoting safe work practices. Participate in risk assessments, health awareness campaigns, and preventive health programs.
3. Medical Records & Compliance
Maintain accurate, confidential medical and incident records as per DOH and company policies. Prepare and submit health and safety/incident reports to management and authorities when required. Ensure compliance with DOH licensing requirements and occupational health regulations. Keep an updated inventory of medical supplies and request replenishments on time.
4. Coordination & Communication
Liaise with external hospitals, clinics, and emergency services when referrals or transfers are required. Provide health education to workers (e.g., hygiene, first aid, ergonomics, heat stress awareness).
