Job Description
Clinical Care & First Aid
Provide first aid and emergency care for students and staff. Assess, manage, and document illness or injury cases occurring within the school premises. Administer prescribed medications as per medical guidelines. Refer students to hospitals/clinics when further medical attention is required.
Health Monitoring & Records
Maintain up-to-date student medical files, including immunization and health records, in line with UAE health authority standards. Conduct regular health screenings (vision, hearing, BMI, etc.) as required. Monitor students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes, epilepsy) and ensure their care plans are implemented.
Health Promotion & Education
Organize and conduct health awareness programs for students, staff, and parents. Promote hygiene, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices among students. Provide counseling and guidance on health-related issues.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure school clinic facilities meet DHA/DOH/MOH requirements. Maintain stock of first-aid kits, medicines, and emergency supplies. Report communicable diseases to health authorities as per UAE guidelines. Adhere to infection prevention and control policies.
