Triage patients according to severity using established emergency triage protocols.
Provide prompt, evidence-based care for trauma, cardiac arrest, stroke, respiratory distress, and other emergencies.
Administer medications, IV fluids, wound care, and perform life-saving interventions.
Clinical Assessments:
Conduct rapid physical assessments and history taking.
Monitor patient vital signs, consciousness levels, and pain levels.
Assist with emergency diagnostic procedures (ECG, lab collection, etc.).
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work closely with ER physicians, radiology, lab, and ICU teams to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment.
Assist with resuscitations, code blues, and patient transfers to critical care units.
Infection Control & Patient Safety:
Adhere strictly to DOH infection prevention and control guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and sterilization in ER zones.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.
Report critical incidents and follow escalation protocols.
Patient & Family Support:
Educate and support patients and families during emergencies.
Provide discharge instructions or handovers when patients are admitted or referred.
