Company Overview:

We are a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, committed to delivering quality healthcare services through licensed and fully compliant operations. We are currently seeking a DOH License Officer to join our team and handle all regulatory affairs related to the Department of Health (DOH) - Abu Dhabi.

The DOH License Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all licensing and regulatory compliance processes with the Department of Health for our healthcare facilities and staff. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge and experience with DOH systems, portals, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all DOH-related applications, renewals, modifications, and approvals for healthcare facilities and professionals.

Process health facility license applications (initial, renewal, modification, cancellation, etc.).

Submit and follow up on:

Facility registration and licensing

Clinical and non-clinical service additions/removals

Facility related requests

Coordinate staff professional license applications, renewals, transfers, and cancellations.

Ensure compliance with all DOH regulations and timelines.

Liaise with DOH inspectors, auditors, and officers during site visits or compliance audits.

Keep track of all license expiry dates and proactively initiate renewal processes.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all applications and approvals.

Requirements:

Proven experience in DOH-related work, particularly in facility and professional licensing.

Strong knowledge of DOH portals (TAMM, Shafafiya, DoH eServices, etc.).

Familiarity with the UAE healthcare regulatory framework.

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector.
