Job Description
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Homecare Nurse to provide personalized care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Homecare Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications and treatments, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and time-management skills, as well as a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments to determine patient needs and create individualized care plans
- Monitor patient health status and provide ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Provide wound care, IV therapy, and other specialized nursing services as needed
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate regularly with physician, other healthcare providers, and family members regarding patient progress and changes in condition
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure that all HIPAA regulations are followed
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Current DOH Abu Dhabi nursing license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse in a clinical or homecare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform other physical tasks as needed
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
- Bachelor\'s (Preferred)
- Clinical or Home Nursing (Required)
- DOH Abu Dhabi license or Eligibility letter or DHA (Required)
