You will work closely with dogs of different breeds, temperaments, and training levels, ensuring their well-being, safety, and adherence to behavioral standards. - Provide daily care for dogs including feeding, grooming, exercise, and administering medications if necessary.
- implement training protocols to develop desired behaviors and obedience in dogs. This may include basic obedience training, agility training, or specialized training based on the needs of individual dogs.
- Assess and evaluate the temperament and behavior of dogs to determine appropriate training approaches and socialization needs.
- Safely handle and manage dogs during training sessions, socialization activities, and public appearances. Ensure the safety of both dogs and humans in all interactions.
- Communicate effectively with dog owners or clients regarding training progress, behavioral concerns, and recommendations for ongoing care.
- Monitor the health and well-being of dogs, identifying any signs of illness or injury and coordinating veterinary care as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of training facilities, kennels, or other work areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for dogs.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, behavior assessments, health status, and other relevant information for each dog in your care.
