Job Description

Maintain and manage all incoming and outgoing documents (drawings, submittals, contracts, correspondence, reports). Control and track project documentation using proper filing and coding systems (hard copy and electronic). Prepare and submit Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR) to consultants/clients. Ensure timely distribution of documents to relevant departments and site teams. Assist Project Manager, Engineers, and QA/QC team in preparing, reviewing, and submitting documents for approval. Maintain a register of all controlled documents, ensuring they are up to date and accessible. Archive old documentation and ensure retrieval process is smooth and accurate. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive documents. Liaise with suppliers, consultants, and contractors for submission and approval of technical documents. Support audits and inspections by providing required documentation.

Skills & Qualifications:



Diploma / Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred). Minimum 2-4 years' experience as a Document Controller (preferably in construction / metal industries). Knowledge of WIR, MIR, Material Submittals, and Project Documentation standards. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure. Good communication and coordination skills.
