Position Overview
We are looking for a
qualified and detail-oriented Document Controller / Secretary
to join our team in Umm Al Quwain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, coordinating with suppliers and project teams, and supporting daily operations across procurement and administration functions.
Key Responsibilities
Handle and organize all company correspondence (emails, letters, documents, etc.)
Prepare, file, and control project-related documentation in both hard and soft copies
Manage
vendor registration
with government and private entities
Coordinate
material deliveries
,
site documentation
, and
project schedules
Assist with
material procurement
and
quotation management
Contact suppliers for pricing, lead times, and technical details for quotations
Prepare and maintain
reports, logs, and registers
as per company procedures
Assist management with general
administrative and clerical tasks
Ensure proper communication between project sites, suppliers, and the main office
Maintain confidentiality and uphold company standards in all communications
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
2 years of experience
in a similar role (preferably in construction or metal fabrication industry)
Strong proficiency in
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
and document control systems
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
Fluent in
English
(Arabic is an advantage)
