About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Controller to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's document control systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting various departments in their documentation needs.
Develop, implement, and maintain document control processes and procedures
Manage the document lifecycle, including creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving
Ensure proper version control and track document revisions
Collaborate with project teams to collect, classify, and store relevant documentation
Maintain an organized and easily accessible document repository
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
Train team members on document control procedures and best practices
Prepare and distribute reports, correspondences, and other materials as needed
Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
Provide data entry and word processing services when required
Continuously improve document management processes for increased efficiency
What do we need from you
Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role
Proficiency in document management software (e.g., ACONEX, SharePoint)
Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Familiarity with document control systems and processes
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to document management
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
Relevant certification in document management or records management is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
