Overview / Responsibilities

Wood has an opportunity for a Document Controller to be based in our Doha office in Qatar for a short term contract of 6 months.

Key Accountabilities: Receiving, maintaining, controlling, distributing, and filing documentation in line with Project requirements Providing support to the project team by responding to requests and queries regarding documentation and records Ensuring that all documentation and drawings issued meet the Project specification requirements Updating and maintaining the registers and metadata held within the Document Control system and EDMS Archiving documents in accordance with company requirements Ad hoc Document Control tasks as required

Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in document controller University degree is preferred but not essential Experience of working with complex Client requirements and multiple processes/systems at one time Experience of working in an Oil and Gas environment would be beneficial but not essential Ability to demonstrate sound understanding and experience of Supplier and Engineering document control Flexible yet process driven in approach Ability to be conscientious in a fast flowing and challenging environment Ability to work well with colleagues and the wider project organisation including engineers, clients and suppliers to ensure that project objectives are achieved Ability to resolve problems in everyday work and contribute to identification of improvements Good written and verbal communication skills Excellent spoken and written English is a must Good general IT skills including MS Office and experience with PDF creation software Knowledge of DC and EDMS Knowledge of Fusionlive is essential. Be available for work in Doha, Qatar from September/October 2022 Be a self-motivated, proactive individual with high achievement drive and initiative, excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organisational awareness Confidently deliver assigned scopes of work independently / remotely from technical leadership personnel, with minimal guidance and direction Take accountability for own targets and supervise engineering and design resource as required to meet project expectations Have demonstrable experience of working within a small project office, supporting cross discipline activities beyond their core discipline

lls, and experience: . Incumbents will typically have a minimum 5 years relevant scheduling/planning experience . Advanced knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling software and related tools and techniques including Logic and CPM analysis, resource loading and levelling Company Overview
