Job Description

Job Summary:

The Document Controller will be responsible for managing and controlling project documentation to ensure accurate, up-to-date, and efficient document handling. This role is essential in supporting project teams, ensuring compliance with internal and external documentation standards, and maintaining document integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain, control, and distribute all incoming and outgoing project documents, including drawings, submittals, and correspondence.

- Maintain document control procedures in line with ISO and company standards.

- Track document versions, approvals, and revisions to ensure consistency and prevent errors.

- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and suppliers for document submissions and approvals.

- Ensure timely updating of document logs and registers.

- Assist in project handover documentation and final submission packages.

-Manage digital and physical document filing systems.

- Support project audits and ensure document compliance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Administration, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum 1 year of UAE experience mandatory as a Document Controller, preferably in interior fit-out or construction.

- Knowledge of UAE construction documentation standards.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

- Strong command of Microsoft Office and familiar with Adobe photoshop or any software tools.

- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED35,000.00 - AED45,000.00 per year
